Question by Chris: Which cell phone company to use while vacationing in Israel?
To whom this may concern,

I will be traveling to Israel in 2 weeks for approximately 3 weeks. I was hoping that you can direct me in the right direction for a cell phone company to use while vacationing.

If you have used this company please give me some details about them (ie. how are their rates? service?). I just dont want to get screwed.

I like Talk n Save.

I’ve tried more than one company (the first one I used gave me an ugly old flip phone and charged something like 50 cents a minute, nuts), and I like them (site is www.talknsave.net) the best. I think the rates are as good as anyone else or better and they’ve always been very nice and polite to me (another company I used answered my emails with like one line and didn’t answer half my questions).

I don’t like prepaid because it’s not safe. Israel is a volatile area – I don’t want to be caught in an emergency and totally be stuck cause I have no more minutes.
